Basketball Game Preview: Grand Junction Central Warriors vs. Ponderosa Mustangs

Having just played yesterday, the Grand Junction Central Warriors will jump right back in to play the Ponderosa Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grand Junction Central will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Grand Junction Central's tournament run continued when they took on Montezuma-Cortez on Wednesday. Grand Junction Central fell 63-53 to Montezuma-Cortez.

Meanwhile, Ponderosa beat Summit 55-46 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Ponderosa's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Grand Junction Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Things could have been worse for Grand Junction Central, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 68-54 loss to Ponderosa when the teams last played back in January of 2018. Can Grand Junction Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
