Soccer Game Preview: Klein Collins vs. Magnolia

The Klein Collins Tigers will head out to square off against the Magnolia Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a proper cat-fight when Klein Collins faced off against Tomball Memorial on Friday. Klein Collins fell 2-0 to Tomball Memorial. One reason for the loss might be the Tigers' aggressive play style: Sebastian Rodriguez and Diego E Gomez were both handed yellow cards.

Meanwhile, Magnolia managed to keep up with Klein Forest until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Magnolia came up short against Klein Forest, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Klein Collins, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Everything went Klein Collins' way against Magnolia in their previous matchup back in January, as Klein Collins made off with a 4-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Klein Collins since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
