Basketball Recap: Riverside Warriors vs. Ripley Vikings
Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ripley Vikings. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in December of 2021.

Riverside lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ava Ward, who went 5-for-12 en route to 13 points and seven rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Laila Campbell, who went 6-for-15 on her way to 14 points.
Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Ripley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season.
Coming up, Riverside will challenge Capital at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ripley, they will head out to square off against Lincoln County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ripley is facing Lincoln County at the right time seeing as Lincoln County is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
