Basketball Recap: David Emanuel Academy Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

David Emanuel Academy came into Monday's match having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 39-35 W over Trinity Christian on Monday. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 47-43 victory Trinity Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

David Emanuel Academy was led to victory by Addalyn Terwilliger and Kyli Bell. Terwilliger posted 16 points in addition to seven boards and three steals, while Bell put up 12 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Terwilliger has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Williams, who had two points and six boards.

David Emanuel Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 23 offensive boards in four consecutive games.
