Riverside posted their closest victory since March 24th on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Briar Woods Falcons 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Ram: when they faced off against the Falcons on Tuesday, they had to take a 5-4 loss.

Riverside got a great performance from Kaylee Kadans as she pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Kadans has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ashley Bui was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

With the win, Riverside broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-5. As for Briar Woods, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 8-3 record.

Riverside has already played their next game, a 14-1 victory against Gainesville on the 28th. As for Briar Woods, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Brentsville District on the 28th.
