Basketball Recap: Gainesville Comes Up Short

Gainesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 78-28 defeat at the hands of the Savio Eagles.

Gainesville's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Savio, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Gainesville will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bells at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Savio, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Marble Falls at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
