Basketball Recap: Canton-Galva Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Canton-Galva Eagles came up short against the Linn Bulldogs and fell 40-27. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Canton-Galva now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Linn, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.

Canton-Galva and Linn could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. Canton-Galva will face off against Little River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 183 places (197 vs. 14). Similarly, Linn (ranked 57th) will meet Centralia (ranked first) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
