Football Recap: Chinle Comes Up Short

Chinle fell victim to Coolidge and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Bears 34-0.

Coolidge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kelshawn Dixon-Wright, who picked up 75 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 49 yards. Aden Garcia was in the mix as well, providing the Bears with two scores.

Chinle's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Coolidge, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Chinle has already played their next game, a 14-12 win against Apache Junction on the 5th. As for Coolidge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-14 victory against Fountain Hills on the 5th.
