Volleyball Recap: College Park Academy Takes a Loss

If College Park Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Central back in September, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. College Park Academy lost 3-0 to the Oxon Hill Clippers on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for College Park Academy in their meetings with Oxon Hill: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-8.

College Park Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Oxon Hill, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. College Park Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Oxon Hill, they will face off against Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
