Football Recap: Paxon School for Advanced Studies Falls to Alonso in First Game of Season

Paxon School For Advanced Studies unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Alonso Ravens on Friday, falling 25-0.

Gabby Werr looked great while leading her team to the win, throwing for 164 yards and two touchdowns.

Alonso pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Paxon School For Advanced Studies didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 39-0 win against Wolfson on the 25th. As for Alonso, they have also already played their next contest, a 34-0 victory against Mandarin on the 22nd.
