Garland Christian Academy managed to slip by Azle Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Swordsmen were dealt a 61-25 defeat at the hands of the Fighting Crusaders on Friday. The Swordsmen were down 40-13 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

A big part of Azle Christian's win came down to the chemistry between Nemo Crowell and his top target Grayson Smith. Crowell gained 162 total yards and two touchdowns while Smith gained 194 total yards and five touchdowns. Smith didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made 14 total tackles.
