Flag Football Game Preview: Freedom Falcons vs. Pittsburg Pirates

Freedom is 0-5 against Pittsburg since September of 2023 but things could change on Wednesday. The Falcons will welcome the Pirates at 7:00 p.m.

On Monday, Freedom came up short against Liberty and fell 20-7. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while the Lions are ranked 26th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pittsburg). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Emerald 35-6. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Pirates considering their six-point performance the contest before.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Pittsburg, their win bumped their record up to 9-6-1.
