Softball Recap: Sweetwater Wildcats vs. Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals

Sweetwater never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by ten runs or more this season.

Sadie Scott made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Victoria Thompson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Baylee Bohrer was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-4.

Sweetwater kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
