Soccer Recap: Helix Takes a Loss

Helix entered their match against Monte Vista on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Helix Highlanders fell just short of the Monte Vista Monarchs by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Monarchs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in January.

Helix suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 10-4. As for Monte Vista, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Helix nor Monte Vista have any future games scheduled.
