Softball Recap: Waynesville Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Waynesville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miamisburg Vikings on Wednesday. The Spartans have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Coming up, Waynesville will take on Beavercreek at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Miamisburg, they will square off against Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
