Volleyball Recap: Pandora-Gilboa Find Success

Pandora-Gilboa proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Wayne Trace Raiders 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Rockets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pandora-Gilboa took Wayne Trace into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-15, 25-22, 17-25, 15-11.

Pandora-Gilboa found their leader in sophomore Annabelle Benton, who had eight digs and three aces.

Pandora-Gilboa was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They are a perfect 8-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Pandora-Gilboa is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Wayne Trace, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10.

Pandora-Gilboa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Vanlue on the 1st. As for Wayne Trace, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Antwerp on the 30th.
