Soccer Recap: Mountlake Terrace Takes a Loss

Mountlake Terrace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Mountlake Terrace can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while Archbishop Murphy are ranked 22nd).

Mountlake Terrace's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-2. As for Archbishop Murphy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountlake Terrace will take on Shorecrest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shorecrest will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mountlake Terrace surely won't give up without a fight. As for Archbishop Murphy, they will challenge Edmonds-Woodway at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
