Volleyball Recap: Deer River Comes Up Short

The Deer River Warriors didn't have quite enough to beat the South Ridge Panthers on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Deer River's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for South Ridge, they pushed their record up to 13-1-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deer River will host Littlefork-Big Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Ridge, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mountain Iron-Buhl at 7:00 p.m.
