Volleyball Recap: Chelsea Mayhead Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Providence

Basha's tournament run continued when they took on Providence on Friday. The Bears came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 2-0.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Basha to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chelsea Mayhead, who had six assists and three aces. That's the most aces Mayhead has posted over her last six matchups.

Basha is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Providence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-6.

Basha wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mayfield on the 27th. As for Providence, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Bishop Amat on the 26th.
