Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Idalou). They were the clear victors by a 23-4 margin over the Friona Chieftans on Tuesday. Considering the Wildcats have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Idalou is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. Friona dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Idalou will head out to square off against Muleshoe at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Friona, they will venture away from home to challenge Slaton at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Friona is facing Slaton at the right time seeing as Slaton is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
