Bentworth has gone 7-1 against Burgettstown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bearcats will face off against the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. Bentworth's pitching crew has only allowed 1.4 runs per game this season, so Burgettstown's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Bentworth fell victim to South Park and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Bearcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Burgettstown narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past South Side 4-3.

Burgettstown saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma McGregor, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave McGregor a new career-high.

The victory got Burgettstown back to even at 5-5-1. As for Bentworth, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-2.

Everything went Bentworth's way against Burgettstown in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Bentworth made off with a 15-3 win. Do the Bearcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
