Fernley's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Elko Indians as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Fernley walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-19.

Lillianna Young paced Fernley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Young got some help from Emma Masters and her 18 assists. Masters also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Alina Williams, each putting up three.

Fernley has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Elko, their loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-11.
