Volleyball Recap: Shadow Ridge Takes a Loss

Shadow Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the O'Connor Eagles, falling 3-0. The Stallions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Shadow Ridge was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 15 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-15.

Shadow Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for O'Connor, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Shadow Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Brophy College Prep on the 12th. As for O'Connor, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Salpointe Catholic on the 14th.
