Soccer Recap: Centennial Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Centennial, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They beat the Roosevelt Mustangs by a goal, winning 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Huskies were the better team in the second half.

Centennial's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-7-4. As for Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6-5.

Centennial will head out to face off against Corona at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Roosevelt, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Norco at 6:30 p.m.
