Softball Recap: Dr. Krop Takes a Loss

Dr. Krop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Goleman Gators, falling 24-1. If the Lightning were looking for revenge after losing 20-7 to the Gators when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dr. Krop's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Goleman, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-8.

Dr. Krop and Goleman will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time Dr. Krop sees the field they'll take on Southwest at 4:00 p.m. on April 2. As for Goleman, their break will end when they face American at 3:30 p.m. on April 1.
