Football Recap: Keshun Wilson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Itawamba Agricultural over Corinth + How To Watch

Itawamba Agricultural was the 28-6 winner over Corinth when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians took a 38-21 bruising from the Warriors on Friday. Indians fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Warriors since Friday.

Itawamba Agricultural's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keshun Wilson, who picked up 80 receiving yards and two scores. Another rusher making a difference was Xavier Waters, who rushed for 147 yards.

Corinth's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Patrick Crump Jr. led the charge by rushing for 139 yards while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Crump Jr.'s rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 133 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Itawamba Agricultural's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Corinth, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Itawamba Agricultural didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 38-35 loss against New Albany on the 12th. As for Corinth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 52-20 win against Houston on the 12th.
