Recap: Arrowhead Christian Eagles vs. Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles
After flying high against the Riverside Prep Silver Knights last Friday, The Arrowhead Christian Eagles came back down to earth. Arrowhead Christian was dealt a 45-6 defeat at the hands of Capistrano Valley Christian on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 50 points in the game before, Arrowhead Christian couldn't push the score so high this time.
Despite the loss, Arrowhead Christian still got an impressive performance from Caden Rossi, who rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown.
It was another big night for JP Synnott, who rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. Nate Richie was another key contributor, throwing for 165 yards and two touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes.
Arrowhead Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arrowhead Christian will play host again and welcome Arroyo, where kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Arroyo is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beckman at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Beckman is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
