Basketball Game Preview: Grant Pacers vs. Lodi Flames

The Grant Pacers will head out on the road to take on the Lodi Flames at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lodi took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Grant, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Grant beat Kennedy 53-42.

Lodi has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They came up short against Lincoln on Friday, falling 69-49. While losing is never fun, the Flames can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Trojans are ranked tenth).

Lodi's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Grant, they pushed their record up to 15-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Grant didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Lodi when the teams last played back in December of 2015, but they still walked away with a 68-62 win. Will Grant repeat their success, or does Lodi have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
