Basketball Recap: Damien's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Damien has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 56-39 to the Etiwanda Eagles. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Damien's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-8. As for Etiwanda, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-10.

Damien and San Clemente will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Etiwanda does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
