Preview: Wilber-Clatonia vs. Malcolm
On Friday Wilber-Clatonia will take on Malcolm at 7:00 PM. Malcolm will need to watch out since Wilber-Clatonia have now posted big point totals in their last six contests.
Wilber-Clatonia might be getting used to good results now that the squad has six wins in a row. Everything came up roses for them against Conestoga last Friday as the squad secured a 56-0 victory. Followers of Wilber-Clatonia probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected seven blowout victories.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for Malcolm and Johnson County Central, but Malcolm stepped up in the second half. Malcolm got past Johnson County Central with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 20-14. The success made it back-to-back wins for Malcolm.
Their wins bumped Malcolm to 3-5 and Wilber-Clatonia to 7-1. The Wilber-Clatonia defense got after the quarterback against Conestoga to the tune of six sacks, so Malcolm's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the matchup.
