Volleyball Recap: Silverado Triumphs

On Wednesday, the Silverado Skyhawks beat the Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Skyhawks.

The victory didn't come easy: Southeast Career Tech scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 19-25, 25-22.

Kiechi Watanabe paced Silverado's offense, picking up 17 kills. Watanabe got some help from Skyler Pangelinan and his 22 assists. Watanabe was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Silverado's record is now 4-5. As for Southeast Career Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Silverado will face off against Desert Oasis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Silverado is facing Desert Oasis at the right time seeing as Desert Oasis is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Southeast Career Tech, they will challenge Durango at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
