Softball Recap: El Toro's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

El Toro won against Burroughs last Saturday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Chargers skirted past the San Juan Hills Stallions 7-6. The win was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Brooklyn Hazlett was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Saylor Hinkson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

El Toro was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

El Toro's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for San Juan Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. El Toro is set to take on their familiar foe Trabuco Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, San Juan Hills will challenge rival Beckman at 3:30 p.m. on the 11th.
