Mooresville lost against Community School of Davidson back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils lost 3-0 to the Spartans. The Blue Devils' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Community School of Davidson got the win, Mooresville sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 27-25, 25-16.

Siena DiTomas and Reagan Young certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. DiTomas had seven digs and two aces, while Young had 12 digs and two assists. DiTomas has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Mooresville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Community School of Davidson, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Mooresville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Christ the King on the 20th. As for Community School of Davidson, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Lake Norman Charter on the 21st.
