Volleyball Recap: Prospect Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Prospect challenged Lincoln on Thursday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Lions. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 15-25, 25-18, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Prospect saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Risa Ono had 30 digs and four aces. Those 30 digs set a new season-high mark for Ono.

Prospect's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Lincoln, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Coming up, Prospect will challenge Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln, they will take on Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
