The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Faith West Academy in their matchups with Founders Christian: they've now lost four in a row.
Founders Christian was led to victory by Cody Baker and Kade Jones. Baker scored 21 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals, while Jones dropped a double-double on 17 points and 10 steals. The game was Baker's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Anderson, who scored 3 points along with 6 rebounds.
The last time Faith West Academy won on the road was back back in November. Having now lost three straight away matchups, they've bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Founders Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
Faith West Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Logos Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. As for Founders Christian, they will square off against Hardin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Hardin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
