If North Raleigh Christian Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Harrells Christian Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Jeremiah Davis. The Crusaders took down the Knights 41-23 on Friday thanks in part to Davis, who rushed for 207 yards and three scores while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 30 receiving yards and one touchdown. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 106.9 rushing yards per game.

Despite the loss, North Raleigh Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Davin McCoy, who rushed for 158 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. The Knights are 2-1 when McCoy posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

The victory was the third in a row for Harrells Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.3 points over those games. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrells Christian Academy will venture away from home to challenge Asheville Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they will head out to take on Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Ospreys' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.17 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
