Soccer Game Preview: Carver vs. Randleman

The Carver Yellowjackets will face off against the Randleman Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carver's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Carver's offense. They lost 10-0 to Bethany Community on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to nine goals the game before, Randleman was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They came up short against Wheatmore, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Randleman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 334th, while Wheatmore are ranked 165th).

Carver's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Randleman, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
