Basketball Recap: Northview Academy Beats Gatlinburg-Pittman for Their Third Straight Victory

Gatlinburg-Pittman typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Northview Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They managed a 56-51 win over the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Highlanders are ranked 43rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Gatlinburg-Pittman still got an impressive performance from Chloe Mejias, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Addi Wear, who posted ten points.
