Soccer Recap: Redmond Takes a Loss

Redmond was the 1-0 winner over Mercer Island when they last played one another back in May of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Redmond fell just short of Mercer Island by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Redmond have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Redmond's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Mercer Island, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redmond will take on Woodinville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodinville will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Redmond surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mercer Island, they will face off against Lake Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Washington's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
