Basketball Recap: Excel Falls to Thomasville in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Excel unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 75-1 loss at the hands of the Thomasville Tigers. The Panthers lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 55-36 score last time.

The victory got Thomasville back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Excel will square off against Shields at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thomasville, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Johnson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
