Basketball Recap: Wayne Gets the Win

Wayne hadn't done well against Chariton recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wayne Falcons walked away with a 52-41 win over the Chariton Chargers. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 65-25 loss the last time these two teams met.

Wayne's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Chariton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Coming up, Wayne is taking a road trip to take on Melcher-Dallas on Tuesday. Chariton has already played their next contest (against Davis County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
