After flying high against Holt on Tuesday, Howell North came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Fort Zumwalt East Lions by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Howell North have struggled against Fort Zumwalt East recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Howell North now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Fort Zumwalt East, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Howell North will face off against Fort Zumwalt North at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Zumwalt East, they will be playing at home against Parkway West at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Parkway West will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Fort Zumwalt East surely won't give up without a fight.
