Basketball Recap: Wilson Christian Academy Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Wilson Christian Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 34-22 win over the Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Chargers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilson Christian Academy will welcome Rocky Mount Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodland Baptist Christian, they will host Surry HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
