Baseball Recap: Pro Stock Royals Academy Takes a Loss

Pro Stock Royals Academy had taken Charlotte S down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Royals lost 11-5 to the Stampede. The Royals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Stampede earlier this season, when they won 5-1.

Pro Stock Royals Academy got a good showing from Zach Rometo, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Rometo has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Nick Santos was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Pro Stock Royals Academy and nudges their season record down to 8-4. As for Charlotte S, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.
