Football Recap: Trousdale County Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Trousdale County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 34-7 loss at the hands of the Friendship Christian Commanders. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Jayden McGowan went supernova For Friendship Christian., rushing for 223 yards and four scores while picking up 13.1 yards per carry. McGowan's longest rush was for an incredible 87 yards. Another player making a difference was Blake Waldorf, who rushed for 48 yards and one touchdown.

Looking ahead, Trousdale County will host Whites Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Friendship Christian, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Fayetteville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
