Football Game Preview: Mount Tahoma T-Birds vs. Lincoln Abes + How To Watch

Mount Tahoma hasn't had much luck against Lincoln recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The T-Birds will square off against the Abes at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Mount Tahoma comes in on 11 and Lincoln on six.

Mount Tahoma is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They really took it to Seattle Prep for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-7 win. The result was nothing new for the T-Birds, who have now won nine contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Mount Tahoma's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mikkah Cordero, who threw for 236 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. That's the most passing yards Cordero has posted since back in September of 2024. Felix Diaz helped Cordero out on the ground, rushing for 91 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Mount Tahoma's defense and their five sacks. In that department, Kemarjae Davis was the leader with 2.5.

Meanwhile, Lincoln earned a 28-19 win over Rainier Beach on Friday.

Mount Tahoma's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Mount Tahoma took their victory against Lincoln in their previous matchup back in October by a conclusive 28-7 score. Will the T-Birds repeat their success, or do the Abes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
