Softball Recap: St. Patrick Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mesick last Saturday, St. Patrick came back down to earth. The Shamrocks fell 8-4 to the Fowler Eagles on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Shamrocks of the 11-9 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

St. Patrick now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Fowler, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

St. Patrick didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-6 loss against Petoskey on the 10th. As for Fowler, they have also already played their next match, a 14-10 victory against DeWitt on the 9th.
