Basketball Recap: Boys' Latin Charter Takes a Loss

Boys' Latin Charter was the 48-40 winner over Frankford when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Boys' Latin Charter were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 49-48 to the Frankford Pioneers. Boys' Latin Charter has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Among those leading the charge was Kasir Hawes, who posted 14 points in addition to seven assists and five steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Natal-Diaz, who put up 13 points.

Boys' Latin Charter's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Frankford, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.

Boys' Latin Charter will take on Mastery Charter North - Pickett at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Frankford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
