Softball Recap: Hudson Comes Up Short

Hudson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sun Prairie West Wolves.

Hudson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sun Prairie West, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Hudson has already played their next match, a 12-1 win against DeForest on the 19th. As for Sun Prairie West, they will take on Middleton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season.
