Deer Park lost to North Central back in March of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. Deer Park put the hurt on North Central with a sharp 26-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Stags.
Mady Ellingson and Hailey Thompson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Ellingson pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Thompson struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. At bat, Ellingson scored a run while going 1-for-1, while Thompson scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
